The Bisons won their second HJHL Championship during the 1996-1997 season with a record of 30 Wins, 6 Losses and 3 Ties, the team finished first in the HJHL regular season. The team went through provincial tournament play with a final record of 1 win, 2 losses coming home short once again. President Bill McFarlane, General Manager Dennis Hat along with Head Coach Gary Soroka and Assistant Coaches James McFill, Jason McFarlane and Mike Hannigan.
