The Carstar Okotoks Bisons captured their 5th HJHL Championship during the 2002–2003 season, completing their remarkable third straight “Back-to-Back-to-Back” title run. The Bisons were dominant from start to finish, posting 30 wins, 6 losses, and outscoring opponents by an incredible 207 goals for and just 76 against. Their powerhouse season earned them 1st place in the HJHL, reinforcing their status as the league’s premier program of the early 2000s.
The Bisons carried that momentum into Provincials, where they delivered a strong 4–1 record, earning the Provincial Bronze Medal and once again proving they belonged among Alberta’s elite.
This championship season was guided by President Jay Pritchard, General Manager Murray McCourt, Head Coach Craig Mohr, and assistant coaches Rob Krauss and Rob Steir—a leadership group that helped cement one of the greatest dynastic runs in HJHL history.
