2004-2005

The Carstar Okotoks Bisons captured their 6th HJHL Championship during the 2004–2005 season, delivering one of the most dominant regular seasons in franchise history. Finishing 1st place in the HJHL, the Bisons posted an incredible record of 33 wins, 3 losses, and 1 tie, while piling up a staggering 314 goals for and allowing just 90 goals against.

The championship run was highlighted by elite team defense and goaltending, including a standout season between the pipes that featured six shutouts, helping power the Bisons to their sixth HJHL playoff title.

At Provincials, the Bisons faced a challenging tournament, finishing with a 1–3–1 record, narrowly missing the podium and coming up just short of a provincial medal that season.

This championship year was guided by President Jay Pritchard, General Manager Murray McCourt, Head Coach Jeff Willoughby, and assistant coaches Mike Hannigan and Ron Dreger, continuing a tradition of excellence that defined the Bisons’ championship legacy.
